Champions Online - PC

Pros Cons
Loads of content
Awesome Character Creation

With literally billions of combinations for your characters creation Champions Online Stands out as a great MMORPG for some like myself who never felt the urge to play mmo's like warcraft or the like, this game has brought players from other genre's into the fold and i can tell you its been one fun ride all the way. Honestly i don't no where to start the game has it all , personally i never played city of heroes but i heard it was pretty popular, the only cons i can think of is the price to play with a game purchase and normal subscription you are going to shell out $80 plus just to get online and play which for me came to around 50 cents a days. But the game has been great and they have changed the game alot since its launch so its now better than ever. Alot of harsh reviews out there but none really make any real good points and coming from someone that has played the game alot the graphics are incredible aside from some props like cars and stuff which is dumb and who cares, the powers special abilities and characters are breath taking. i have loved every moment online with this rpg.

YES. IT IS FREE. This game looks so good. You can customize your weapon with different grips, scopes, and mechanisms. It's so realistic. There are ranks. It's like COD 4 but free! The multiplayer is the best multiplayer your going to get of any fps on the pc.

Why you shouldn't dowlaod combat arms.

Hi, I was somebody who used to play combat arms and yes, it was violent and fun but if you are thinking that it is safe, well you are just plain dumb.

In theory, it is one of the most popular games in Canada. It's also very very addictive and will make you want to play it for the rest of your life.

It is fun but not if your computer gets plenty of viruses and hacks. That's what happened to me one day when I was playing combat arms. Suddenly, my computer shuts down immediatly and I can't turn it back on. I had to pay 400$ to fix and I had only payed my computer 320$. So, if you don't want that to happen to you, then don't dowload combat arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very serious.

Order of War - PC

This game is all all about warfare

When this game first got to my hands I thought: Oh Gosh, another WWII real-time strategy. And now after playing somewhat 35 exciting hours for both campaigns, I admit that this game has its unique great approach to this hackneyed setting. This one was something new to me (why everybody is comparing it to CoH?). Sure, OOW is not revolutionary itself, but it looks really fresh comparing to other WWII clones. And it is simply fun to play it. First off, what really impresses me about the game is its scale. Hundreds of units on a map look exciting. That's nice that even considering this massive scale of battles developers managed to maintain decent graphics. Simplified controls manage to command these huge gatherings of forces in a rather convenient way. What is really great about OOW is that it doesn't offer only-one-correct solution to pass this or that mission. Indeed, there's much space for tactics so the absence of micromanagement, recharging and production seems very reasonable. It helps to avoid each unit babysitting and allows full concentration on warfare.

I pay huge attention to realism and historical accuracy and OOW didn't disappoint me. Not without flaws, of course, but everything looks quite historically correct. Sound contributes much to this realistic feeling. Endless explosions and shots sound real. Now to soundtracks - ingame music is simply top notch.
Cinematic camera is the game's very hyped-up feature. And IMHO it panned out. Still however, I think that some moment captured from time to time by virtual camera man don't deserve any attention. But some scenes look very impressive. Cut scenes between the missions are really eye-catchy. Multiplayer mode (where you can play for Russians, there's no Soviet campaign in singleplayer) is very addictive: battling with real people is much more exciting than with AI, even though it is rather smart. However, developers could add some more maps.

Now to the game's weaknesses. I finished both campaigns (American and German) and I find the German one much more challenging and interesting to play. I think American campaign missions could be a bit more diverse. Then, infantry remained easy meat. Why are they so defenseless? Infantry is very effective in multiplayer battles when capturing check points, but in singleplayer mode they are very often just useless. And of course there are some tiny bugs in gameplay.

All told, the games' pros overwhelms its cons. The game is a real fun and very intense during all missions (especially in the German campaign). It definitely deserves a try by RTS fans and even history buffs.

Battlefield Vietnam - PC

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Braindead computer AI
Fantastic multiplayer
Just plain fun
Awsome game, still playing it.

I'm a big fan of the Battlefield series and recently finished my collection (including Battlefield Heroes). The first PC game I ever got was Battlefield 1942: Deluxe Edition for only $10 at Best Buy. It also came with the other mods of 1942 and BF: Vietnam. I think the game is great because it has the original BF game play. It is addictive from the start, has an awesome multiplayer with servers still running, and it's just plain fun. A few cons are braindead AI because I even took videos of bots just running forwards, then quickly looking back like they stupid. The game is fun with custom difficulty too. I don't have much else to say about this game, but what would be awesome is if EA made an up-to-date version of BF:V for Xbox and PC.

World of Warcraft - PC

Pros Cons
  Not enough content
Not a good game for new players

At one time, WoW may have been a decent game but anymore it's terrible for new players. At low levels, expect lots of crap from high levels for no reason like /spit. Mid level, gold and character farmers look at players as an open source to scam through ninja and more obvious schemes. The game ends when you reach 80 and find that the runs you need to do to gear up are either not run or require gear you don't have access to unless you've already run them. Big Catch-22, and to top it off, Blizzard lets you know that they have many other subscribers so the loss of a few does not concern them. Truly a bad experience throughout for the 3 months I tried to play.

Army Men II

This game was a great game for the PC. I like how you could fight against the computer controlled bots and also be able to do singleplayer. I like the controls a lot better than Army Men I. Army Men I just felt terrible compared to this game.
