Guitar Hero: Aerosmith features tracks from the titular rock band, as well as songs by those who have played with or inspired them throughout their 40-year career. It is the first game in the series to primarily focus on the work of one rock band, with Aerosmith songs comprising approximately 60% of the soundtrack. The single player Career mode allows the player to follow the history of the band through several real-world-inspired venues, interspersed with interviews from the band members about their past. Aerosmith has re-recorded four songs for this game, and have participated in motion capture to create their in-game appearances.

Only for the Aero lovers

Guitar Hero one to three was some awsome gameplay for people to look back at the good days, were rock wasnt taken over by Rap, but than this little baby popped out Aerosmith, now im not saying this game was crappy but I am only 13 so I dont really know any of these songs, but hey im a sucker for Guitar hero, but of course my dad was excited for it because he loves Aerosmith owned every CD, but like I said I liked it but I don't really know half the song songs the playlist.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a mixed bag...on one hand, it's classic Guitar Hero, which means you know that the controls will be well done and the experience enjoyable, but on the other hand, you also know deep down that this is a cash-in title, as evidenced by the paucity of tracks and the odd selection of ballads from among Aerosmith's vast library. The story is, of course, filler, but it is a bit cool to trace the band's roots, and the idea to include artists closely associated with Aerosmith does break up the monotony of an otherwise one-trick pony. I consider myself a fairly big Aerosmith fan, and as such was looking forward to this game with great anticipation, but I must say that it feels like a hollow package, worth the price of an expansion or add-on, say, $20-$30 bucks, but at $50+, it simply does not justify your purchase. Wait a few months for World Tour to drop and then pick up GH: Aerosmith on the cheap.
