Same Game BUT Same Fun!

First Off, I never played Animal Crossing:Wild World for the DS but was a HUGE fan of the origional Animal Crossing on Game Cube. With that said, I didnt see much a difference from the origional game once I popped in AC:City Folk. The graphics almost seem like they were ported directly from the Game Cube edition. The game play is near Identical (which isnt really a bad thing!) as well. The catch with this edition is the adding of the "City" element which is entertaining but not really needed. I see Animal Crossing becoming a game that will be adding subtle changes with each new addition (Sort of like how EA goes about with each new Madden Game). Despite nothing changeing hugely, the game still retains the attention catching and all addicting focus of COLLECTING! Let it be bugs, fish or furniture - its all here bigger and better for you to enjoy! If your a fan of Animal Crossing, dont expect a totally new experience but an updated one instead. Those new to the game will love it regardless!

If you look close enough, you can trace the casual roots of today's Nintendo back to the GameCube's quirky runaway phenomenon, Animal Crossing. The game's latest incarnation, Animal Crossing: City Folk feels and plays extremely natural on Nintendo's flagship family-friendly console and feels right at home with wii-mote and nunchuck in hand. For gamers taking their first trip to Animal Crossing, City Folk will be paradise. For fans of both the original as well as the DS incarnation, it might be a bit too familiar of a journey.
