Ubisoft Speaks on PC Version of Resident Evil 4

In February, Ubisoft announced a deal with Capcom to distribute three of its top selling console games for the PC: Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, and critical darling Resident Evil 4.

But with the PC version of Onimusha 3 already released and Devil May Cry 3 scheduled for a September 2006 release, little is known about the status of Resident Evil 4 for the PC. Has it been canceled? Delayed?

Luckily, the future still seems bright for the cross-platform port. An Ubisoft representative told GamePro that the company didn't have any information to share "as of right now" about the PC port of Resident Evil 4. But how long will fans have to wait for an update? "Hopefully in a few weeks" the representative told us, "we'll have something more to share."
