Gears of War 2 Snowblind and Halo 3 Mythic DLC packs get prices, release dates

NEW GEARS OF WAR 2 and HALO 3 DLC: Gears of War 2's Snowblind Pack and Halo 3's Mythic Map Pack are coming soon. Both Xbox 360 download packs get priced at $10 a pop.
Gears of War 2's Snowblind Pack features icy new maps that'll freeze your blood (Click here for more Gears of War 2 screens).
Halo 3's Mythic Map Pack includes three maps that are definitely worth playing for Halo fans (Click here for more Halo 3 screens).
New expansion packs for Gears of War 2 and Halo 3 are headed to the Xbox 360 in the next few weeks. Both DLC packs will be available for download via Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points, which equates to $10 each.
Gears of War 2's Snowblind Pack, which hits Tuesday, March 31, includes four new winter-themed Gears 2 maps. Snowblind also has a snowy remake of the original Gears of War game map Fuel Depot.
Halo 3's Mythic Map Pack, which hits Thursday, April 9, includes three maps that were first released with the Limited Edition Halo Wars.

Good stuff on the way for 360 owners, and in these economic times, spending ten bucks on new content for great games like Gears 2 and Halo 3 isn't a bad deal. Can't wait to play the snow-themed Gears of War 2 levels, which look awesome.

$10 for new maps is to much if you ask me. If you can buy a full game with 16 maps for $60. then 3 maps should be $3 to $4.

Cool, I'll probably pick up the Gears 2 maps. halo maps, I'm not too sure. Probably not, though I'm sure they'd be fun, but I dont play halo much.

I like how Bungie has had Halo 3 DLC streaming out for a year and a half now. A testament to the multiplayer staying power.

Here comes the moaning and complaining about DLC prices. NOBODY is forcing you or twisting your arms to buy them. As one person said, the Halo maps are always worth the money.

those gears 2 maps look so beast. just not sure if they are $10 beast... so not sure if im gettin those or not. and halo forget it and ill wait till their 4th pack comes out to get these free

I too think $10 is too much for a map pack, especially since the legendary map pack is only 600 points to purchase. I'm still going to buy this though but I may wait alittle while first.

i got the halo maps and there okay. not great but okay. the more maps the better.. as for gears, hell to the yeah.. alot of cheaters online but patches are fixin that. ..HALO3 ...GEARS OF WAR2.. the beasts of online FPS

Bungie announced six new mythic maps and if you look at your achievment descriptions you can see five of the six names. When will the three that didn't come with Halo wars LCE come out?
