Gamestop: Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale is back

Starting on March 13, Gamestop will once again entice gamers with a three-day sale on used games.

Gamestop is going to be holding a three-day sale on their used games inventory, with their trademark "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" campaign. The sale will be both online and in-store, starting on March 13 (the same day that Resident Evil 5 will be hitting store shelves). Check out further details at their Gamestop's website and get ready for one massive weekend crunch.

Gamestop:

Speaking of which, who's ready to start playing Resident Evil 5 this weekend?

THE VERDICT by McKinley Noble McKinley Noble's Avatar Hey, in this cash-strapped economy, I'm going to take my Edge Card and accept all the discount goodies I can afford.

Quite a change from charging $50 or more for used games. Greedy assholes.

I rather go to amazon and get two new games for the price of one used GameStop one.

Why's Gamepro advertising this? Gamestop's done this before, a few times actually. Well, in any case, as long as you're not buying any two relatively recent or popular games ($45-55 used), you could get a good deal

Maybe Game Informer will be taking GamePro over :P

I think EB Games had a similar deal not long ago in Canada. My fave was the Buy 2 Get 1 Free at Toys R Us last November. New games, good selection

Maybe I should use this to actually buy Fallout 3. I know, it sucks that I haven't played the game or the DLC yet.

Why does the sale have to be this weekend when I have no money. I always buy 9 to 12 games with my edge card when they have these sales

Big fuckin deal. Now you can buy 2 used games for $55 a crack, when you could get them new for $60 each. I understand you get the free game, and while that is a sweet deal, I strongly dislike Gamestop, trade a game for $20 credit, and they resale it for $55, I have a huge problem with that. I won't be getting in on this. BOOOO Gamestop.

i dont know i have i play and trade over by me and they always have a buy 1 get 1 free so i think ill just stick to that
