GamePro: Will Media Molecule continue to release new levels?

Eric Fong: Yes, Media Molecule is continuing to add to the player experience with new levels, costumes, materials, and a host of other content.

How will you ensure that players find the best user-created levels?

There is a slew of metrics we monitor to help point players in the right direction, including how many people have "Hearted" a level and/or creator, how often a level is played, user comments, "tagging" etc. The cream will literally rise to the top as popular levels take up more real-estate in the game.

Would you consider adding an option to more radically shift the perspective of the camera, say for like a top-down shooter?

Not a present, but there are certainly creative ways you could do something similar with the current perspective.

Will "power-ups" or "weapons" ever be added?

In our opinion, the spirit of LittleBigPlanet was to "figure ways around obstacles" and less about blowing stuff up, though certainly a player can already create their own experience to include missile launchers and the like.

When will users be able to "sell" their creations for real money, as promised?

There are still a lot of details that need to be worked out, that's pretty much all I can say at this point.

I can't wait to get this game. The beta was awesome!!! Too bad Christmas is destroying my wallet.

Littlebigplanet deserves to be game of the year just as much as any hardcore game. Mario Galaxy last year, and plus... MS has got um... Banjo Kazooie or what ever its called..

Spoken like a true uniformed idiot. The game is not a simple side-scroller. Creating a decent level requires some creativity and imagination... which I suppose you lack in truckloads. Stop hating... it will be funny if this game holds a score higher than Gears... but I suppose you may reject anything that is not a shooter. God forbid we find out what your simple ass things of Fable2 and Fallout 3.

The game just came out yesterday... aren't all LBP levels new? ahahah... but yeah.... how much for DLC?

You should play it before you judge it, everybody I know and my whole friends list has been playing the game additively for days now. And so have I, It's the most fun game I've ever played. Someday you'll be comfortable enough with your sexuality and will experience the rest of things life had to offer as well, you seem like you have something to hide from the rest of the world, so keep playing mocho games dooooood!
